International Trade Agreements Show Positive Impact on SMEs

Our company has launched a new initiative that allows part of accounting service fees to be paid not in cash but in the client’s own products – a rare model in Japan.

The first case involves Mikawa Ham Co., Ltd., a food manufacturer in Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture. The company paid part of its accounting outsourcing service fee with its products (ham and sausages). We then donated these products to a local children's welfare facility.

This mechanism realizes a new model that combines:

"Accounting Outsourcing × SME Brand Value × Social Contribution."

Initiative Flow

1
The Keiri Team provides accounting and bookkeeping services to Mikawa Ham.
2
Mikawa Ham pays part of the fee with its products (ham and sausages).
3
The Keiri Team donates the received products to local welfare facilities.
4
Staff members taste the products and share feedback from donation recipients.

➡ Staff enjoyed the products themselves, and feedback from the facilities included: "We had a summer barbecue party with the children and enjoyed it together!"

Results

  • We have already delivered sausages to several children's welfare facilities, bringing smiles to children.
  • For client companies, accounting service fees are directly converted into social contributions, enhancing their brand value.

Features

  • Planned and initiated by our company – a rare initiative nationwide in the service industry
  • Creates a social cycle where accounting fees directly support child welfare
  • Generates a positive cycle: Accounting service → Partial fee paid in products → Donation → Feedback → Brand enhancement

Future Developments

We will continue to expand this model by utilizing the unique products of each client company, spreading the concept of "Accounting Services × Local Companies × Social Contribution." Through this "economy not solely dependent on money," we aim to contribute to regional economic development, enrich social welfare, and strengthen the brand power of client companies.

This initiative is not limited to food manufacturers – it can be applied across various local SMEs. By paying part of your accounting fees with your own products, you can achieve: Stabilization of accounting operations Contribution back to the local community Expansion of your brand recognition
